My ancestors began emigrating to the United States in the early 1600s from England, Wales, Ireland, Germany, and The Netherlands. They originally settled in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, and Illinois. By the mid 1800s, many of their descendents had settled in Putnam County Indiana and the adjacent counties.
Be sure to check out my Hammond-Miller Family surnames, and drop me a note via the “Contact” link if you have ties to any of these family names, need more info, or just want to say howdy.
